Amber Hooper, LPC, brings nearly 20 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor to her work at She Blooms Mental Health in Arkansas. As a mother who navigated her own journey through reproductive trauma, infertility treatments, and pregnancy loss, Amber offers a compassionate and deeply empathetic perspective for those facing similar challenges.

Throughout her career, Amber has worked with diverse populations in a variety of clinical settings, including crisis coordination, school-based therapy, community mental health, employee assistance programs, and private practice. She has also supported children and teens in shelters and homes, provided training and seminars, and served women recovering from trauma. Her expertise spans treating mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss, neurodiversity, life adjustments, interpersonal conflicts, and maladaptive coping mechanisms, offering therapy to individuals, couples, and families. In recent years, Amber has worked extensively with University of Arkansas students, assisting them to minimize their mental health stresses as they adjust to managing and coping with the demands of college life.

Amber utilizes treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, boundary health implementation, regulation strategies, such as dialectical behavioral therapy, and strengths-based skills. All interventions are tailored to meet each client’s unique therapeutic goals. Amber is passionate about helping clients navigate the emotional complexities of their mental health journeys, while fostering healing, resilience, and hope during life‘s most challenging seasons.
